These are my three easy essential oil roller recipes that are my holy grail. These are rollers that we utilize the most and cover a broad spectrum for my families needs.

What Is An Essential Oil Roller Used For & What Are The Benefits?
Essential oil rollers are great to use when you don’t have the ability to diffuse essential oils in the area you are in. Rolling essential oils mixed with a carrier oil onto your skin in a powerful aromatherapy. Just to name a few, it can reduce stress and anxiety, alleviate pain, and improve your mood & energy.

What Is A Carrier Oil?
Carrier oils are from plants, nuts, seeds, or kernels and are derived from a vegetarian source. Carrier oils are used to be mixed with essential oils to help dilute them so they are safe to apply to your skin without irritation.
For your roller bottles you will want to use a carrier oil that stays in a liquid form unlike shea butter, cocoa butter, and unfractionated coconut oil. I also find it helpful to use oils that absorb into your skin easy unlike a type of oil like olive oil that will leave your skin feeling sticky. You shouldn’t use anything like mineral oil, petroleum jelly, butter, margarine, or vegetable shortening.
What Carrier Oil Can You Use In A Roller Bottle?
Why Do You Need A Carrier Oil In A Roller Bottle?
A carrier oil will slow the absorption of your essential oils into your skin and help dilute the potency of them. If essential oil are applied undiluted they can irritate your skin.
Materials You Will Need
To join Young Living and get the 24% discount, you can do that HERE! That is where you will find the essential oils listed below. I purchased the everyday oils bundle which included all of the oils listed below in addition to others.
- 3 10ml glass amber roller bottles
- Fractionated coconut oil
- Stress Away essential oil
- Lavender essential oil
- Frankincense essential oil
- Thieves essential oil
- Lemon essential oil
- Peppermint essential oil
You will want to use glass roller bottles because certain essential oils like citrus will eat away at plastic bottles over time and cause them to leak. Using amber roller bottles rather than clear will help protect and elongate the aromatic potency and therapeutic properties of your essential oils from sunlight. For the labels I just typed the names, printed them and used packing tape to cover them & make them more water proof.
